The “Beutenkarl” scale¶
A scale for measuring hive weight is probably the most important tool when looking for insights into bee colony behavior by beehive monitoring.
Introduction¶
We have a classic double-H formed scale frame enclosing a Bosche H30A single point load cell by Karsten Harazim and Robert Gummi of Beutenkarl fame (facebook).
